Brad Yarwood:

I have been involved in the Electrical industry all my life, my father and uncle being electricians also. We truly are a family business with 3 generations of strong family values, my father still helping out when needed and my youngest son just starting his apprenticeship journey with us.

I started my apprenticeship in 1995 with Holden Engine Company and have since worked in many different fields including Industrial Maintenance, small to medium size Commercial Construction and Domestic. Owning my commercial contracting business for over 14 years employing over 40 staff and working on projects for many different leading Victorian and National builders. I was national service manager for a major Electrical Contractor in Melbourne working with companies like Virgin Australia, Colliers International, Jam factory and Como Centre, Victoria Major projects (Flinders Street Station) along with numerous others.

I have been involved in Commercial Projects for the last 15 years or more. I have managed the electrical scopes for many different types of projects from Education, Government, Health, and private developments.

Rhys Brady:

While Rhys and Bendigo are only a new addition to the BCES operation, Rhys brings with him over 10 years industry experience with a strong knowledge of the communications industry. He has an eye for detail and is driven and motivated to help our customers achieve the outcome they require. He has the full backing of Brad and the rest of the BCES team and will very quickly grow into the operational role with his respectful attitude, get it done capabilities and sound understanding of the industry.

Gary Fitzjohn:

Becoming an A Grade golf club professional at the age of 20, Gary went on to play local tournaments in the UK and Pro Ams within the UK and Europe. He was a professional at the East Dorset Golf Club before deciding on a career change to become an Electrician.

With over 20 years’ experience, starting in the electrical industry since 1999 and having served his apprenticeship at Sealed Air packaging (Cryovac Group), Gary has developed a strong industrial installation and maintenance skillset. Following this he ran a business that included a broad range of electrical fields incorporating domestic, commercial and industrial electrical installation and maintenance works. Working as Operations manager for a commercial maintenance company in Melbourne with 8 full time electricians and various apprentices and subcontractors, I have a very good understanding of commercial properties and the complex deliverables that are required. It was important to work in well with the property managers and clients to ensure that Shopping Centers, Hotels and the like are maintained for full compliance and tenant welfare.

More recently I have been carrying out electrical and AV/home automation contracts in the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast, where he now resides.
